Sidewalk Runway: Little Black Dress Gala

This year's Little Black Dress Gala took place on November 25th and was held at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The Pacific Ballroom was used for dancing and the BC Ballroom was used for the fashion show and live performances. The increase in space meant organizers could dramatically increase the number of guests. The purpose of the gala is threefold, it’s a chance for: Guests to dress up, Local designers to show their collections and proceeds to benefit Help Change My City (HCMC). “HCMC Alliance is a local non-profit that is dedicated to providing empowerment to homeless, at-risk youth, youth out of foster care and teen parents by giving them guidance, care support and mentorship…” In addition to featuring 19 designers, guests were also treated to several genres of dance, music and singing.
