Local kids win Little Sunshine 2014

Little Sunshine 2014 concluded with fanfare on Saturday, October 11 at Richmond’s Aberdeen Centre. Six year old Olé Ho from Vancouver and seven year old Nayali Liu from Richmond were crowned the Boy Champion and Girl Champion respectively.
Others winners include Amy Mao from Richmond, who won both the “Talent Award” and the “Facebook Most Liked Award,” and Victor Poon, another Vancouver resident, who won the “Best Poses Award.”
Organized by Fairchild Radio for the 5th year, Little Sunshine is an annual talent search for Chinese speaking children between 4 and 12 years old. Previous winners of Little Sunshine have become little ambassadors of Fairchild Radio’s various goodwill projects including the annual “Winter Warm Wave,” which encourages people to donate their unwanted clothing items to Salvation Army. Some of the past winners of Little Sunshine have also starred in films, TV commercials and photo shoots.
