Bubble tea at Milk and Sugar Cafe

Milk and Sugar Cafe is located on Kingsway near Joyce. They are best known for their $2 bubble tea specials and $3 all day breakfast. You can’t go wrong with those prices, and they usually have three different kinds of bubble tea on special.
On my last visit, we didn’t like any of the flavours on special (cheesecake, slushes, and Oreo ice cream) so we ordered off the menu instead.
Avocado Mango Fresh Fruit Bubble Tea (Large $4.25) was a strong combination, but I wanted to try it for fun. I love both fruits, so I didn’t mind it even though the avocado dominated the drink. My friend ordered the Lychee Green Tea with Mango Stars.
Their food menu is limited, but it’s all under $5. We tried the Condensed Milk Toast with Ice Cream ($3.50), which took a long time to make. It was a busy day and they only had two people working here, and we didn’t mind as we had our bubble tea to occupy our time. We loved the toast but the ice cream was a bit too much, so next time I will likely order it without the ice cream.
Overall, this is a decent place with good prices. The interior isn’t that pretty, but it will do for the a nice snack and tea.
